Graham Godwin-Pearson has been involved in policy-making since 2005 in various roles and has written for think tanks and the media on environmental issues for most of this time.

Having visited conservation efforts in Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America, he is particularly interested in the interconnectivity between food systems and the natural environment. An advocate of locally-grown, sustainable, healthy food, Graham is a student of the Mellanby approach to food sovereignty, and broadly supports the use of social nudges and small fiscal levers, instead of sweeping legislation, as means to improve public health.

Graham studied Chemistry at Bath University and has served as a district councillor in rural Somerset.
